Ghana pk -139 over Australia Pinnacle 8 units
Some of you guys wanted me to alert you as to when Ghana plays again. They play on Tuesday. This match will be played in England so there is no true home team. Australia may have a larger backing in the crowd due to it being so closely tied with England. If you remember the World Cup earlier this year you will remember both teams doing well only to be eliminated by eventual finals teams (Australia by Italy and Ghana by Brazil).

That being said, Australia's current team is much different than that team. They have a new coach (Graham Arnold) and have several World Cup team members missing due to retirement (Danny Tiatto, Stan Lazaridis, Tony Popovic and Tony Vidmar). Four team members from the World Cup team will be missing due to injury (Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Tim Cahill and Lucas Neill).

Ghana has a new coach as well (Claude Le Roy) who has had successful experience while coaching at Cameroon. The only absent player for Ghana will be John Mensah who plays for Rennes and was injured in his club's win over Lyon.

For those who have not been following Ghana in the International Friendlies, they have been taking these games seriously. They have won a couple matches in Asia.

I would think that they would continue to take this match with Australia seriously since I would think they would look at it as a chance to beat a former WC finalist. The fact that all their players will be present is another indicator of this.

I feel that a full Ghana squad would have no problem defeating a team of substitutes that have been put together recently under a new coach.

Its still a friendly mind, and alot of the aussie & ghanaian players play in europe too. With all the arguement about whether international friendly games should be played with their best players or not as the season is in full flow, ending the games injury free is the biggest priority.
I agree with madcapper, this game doesnt look like one that has the enthusiasm and desperation to get a good result like the aussie-japan game or the italy-ghana game, also both defenses have big strong players like mensah, sarpei, neill and moore, but the two aussie fellas are big injury doubts and with the likes of cahill out through injury too, i think it will be a boring game (but dont quote me).

Im not big on friendlies, so gl fellas

Typically I am not big on friendlies either as most teams that get down may not care to put in a good effort to come back. The thing that makes me like this one is Ghana's efforts and success to win in the past. This tells me that they take these contests seriously.
